The founders of Da Vinci have been in the business since 1978, Da Vinci has grown from a simple agent of furniture brands to a guiding force for the ideal lifestyle. This continuous pursuit of furniture and space art is both a principle of Da Vinci Group CEO Doris Phua,
as well as a long held philosophy of Da Vinci Group as a whole.

Our Story

THE BEGINNING

Mr. Tony Phua and Dr. Doris Phua started their business by acting as agent for FISSLER, Germany's leading tableware brand in Singapore and Indonesia back in 1978. After that, DORIS PHUA was granted PHD by Honolulu University. Dr. Doris Phua and Mr. Tony Phua established the first-ever exclusive shop of DA VINCI in  Singapore  in  1994.  That  was  the  establishment  of  DA VINCI GROUP.

Dr. Doris Phua as the Founder and CEO of DA VINCI GROUP has been responsible for the operation and development  of  the  Group. Thanks to   over  twenty three   years    of    development     and    expansion, DA VINCI has become the first-choice agent for western up-market furniture manufacturers in the Asian market due to its strength and undeniable brand reputation.Dr. Doris Phua has won many personal awards, such as Singapore Female Entrepreneur Awards 2001 by ASME and Montblanc Female Entrepreneur Awards 2002. 

In 2007, Dr. Doris Phua turned to the jewelry course and continued her study in the US. She obtained gemologist ( certificate of gemology ) in Gemology Institute of America( GIA ), New York in 2008 and named her products after her own name – DORIS VINCI

NEW ERA

Over the next 10 years, as the Da Vinci family grew, the Interior Design market in Asia is expanding broadly. Along with that, the company's product range expanded to showcase American classical furniture, by representing renowned brands of Thomasville, Henredon, Maitland Smith, John Richards, Marge Carson, and Theodore Alexander. To accommodate their client's desire for modern-contemporary furniture, famous Italian brands such as Jumbo Grouppo Italia, Cappelletti, Riva, Preciosa, Colombosite, Natuzzi, JC Passion and many more brought into Da Vinci Collection to indulge the delights of high end furniture aficionados in Asia.

In 2003, the 35-floor Da Vinci Tower in Central Jakarta was inaugurated. This quintessential style building is Da Vinci's largest home store as it occupies 12 floors to showcase various pieces such as leather and upholstered sofas, beds, kitchen systems and bathroom accessories, to name a few. While the remaining 23 floors are luxurious penthouse; equipped with the latest home systems and furniture, all designed by Da Vinci Collection. As the third tallest building in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Da Vinci Tower marked the hall of fame of Da Vinci's proud achievements and becoming Jakarta's most noticeable landmark.
